Studio Recital Dates Check your assignment book Activity Page for your recital assignment and repertoire.
Performing in studio recitals is only one part of a student’s required participation. Listening to each performance in the recital group acquaints students with many composers, compositions, musical styles, and invites them to make observations about interpretation, tone color, technique and pacing in performance. Most importantly, listening to all performers in your recital group allows each student and their parents to return the courtesyof providing an audience for all performers. If you cannot remain for your entire recital group please let me know well in advance, as you will be excused from participation in the recital.
Focused listening is a potent educational tool from which involved parents, as well as students benefit! Thank YOU for making each of our recitals a success!
I will arrive no earlier than fifteen minutes before each recital to open the building. Thank you for arriving 10 minutes before your recital is to begin.
