Eric Lin winner of 2014 Novik Piano Concerto Competition
Eric Lin has just been named winner of the Senior Level of the Biannual Novik Concerto Competition. Eric wins $600 and a performance with the Capital City Symphony Orchestra, that Ryo performed with two years ago. Eric played the entire Prokofiev Concerto no. 3. He was assisted by the extraordinarily talented and amazing studio alumnus, Jessica Osborne of NYC. |
Oscar Paz-Suaznabar Receives Jack Kent Cooke Award FROM THE TOP
Congratulations Oscar! Winner of a $10,000 Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Scholarship!
Oscar will perform on From the Top at the live show taping on Friday, October 24th 8:00 pm at Lisner Auditorium, one day before his 9th birthday. On Sunday, October 19th Oscar will perform on the 3:00 p.m. Young Soloists Recital at the Concerts at the Alden series at McLean Community Center, and on Sunday, November 9th at 6:00 p.m. on the NVMTA Young Artist Musicales at the George Mason University Center for the Performing Arts. Oscar appreciates the support he has received from Northern Virginia Music Teachers and the MusicLink Foundation. |
